Smoke & Bubble Machine Hire UK - BeamZ Cyclone400 | AV Xpert Hire
Posted by Tom Brown on 25/09/2026
Creating memorable events depends on the details, and the right effects can transform an ordinary moment into one your guests remember. The BeamZ Cyclone400 smoke and bubble machine hire option brings three effects from one unit: atmospheric smoke, floating bubbles, or smoke-filled bubbles that drift visibly through even daylit spaces, with a striking effect. It is equipped with 48 RGBW LED lights that cycle through colours and respond to sound, synchronising the lighting to your music or atmosphere. In this blog, we will look at what the Cyclone400 does, how to control it, and which events suit it best.
What can the BeamZ Cyclone400 do?
The BeamZ Cyclone400 works as three machines in one: a smoke machine, a bubble machine, or a hybrid that fills bubbles with smoke. This flexibility means you can select the exact effect for your moment - whether you want atmosphere alone, floating bubbles, or the striking sight of smoke-filled bubbles drifting across a dance floor or stage.
Its standout feature is certainly the ability to release smoke-filled bubbles. As the bubbles float through the space, the smoke inside creates a unique and engaging visual effect, and as the occasional bubble pops, the release of smoke looks truly fascinating to the eye.
Warm-up takes 3 minutes, and the machine draws on separate 1.2 litre tanks for smoke and bubble fluid, so you can adjust the balance between effects mid-event or switch the machine to pure smoke or pure bubbles on the fly. Output capacity is 500 m³/min, and it connects via P-Con for power and 3-pin or 5-pin XLR for DMX control, making venue integration straightforward.
RGBW LED Lighting: 48 colour-mixing lights
The Cyclone400 has 48 RGBW (Red, Green, Blue, White) LED lights arranged in a ring around the unit. Colour mixing lets them cycle through hues and respond to sound, so you can synchronise the lighting to your event's atmosphere or the music.
When smoke-filled bubbles are released, the LEDs illuminate them as they move through the space, creating a striking visual display - particularly effective in clubs where the lights respond to music. The lighting can also be used alongside the smoke or bubble effects to add colour and movement to your event.
How do you control it?
The Cyclone400 offers several control options, making it suitable for both straightforward setups and more carefully programmed productions.
Three control modes are available: manual (via an RF remote or the front panel), automatic programs built into the machine, or full DMX integration (11 DMX channels via XLR). DMX control lets you synchronise the Cyclone400 with a complete lighting and effects rig, triggering smoke, bubbles and LEDs in time with other elements of your production.
What can you use the smoke bubble machine hire for?
Ready to hire the Cyclone400?
At AV Xpert, we hold the BeamZ Cyclone400 ready to hire. A bride and groom can use it for their first dance to create a spectacular effect as smoke-filled bubbles drift across the floor. A product launch can use it to punctuate the announcement. A festival or outdoor stage uses it where smoke-filled bubbles stay visible in daylight.
