Customer Collection and Return
Customers can collect and return equipment from our Huntingdon warehouse at no extra cost, during office opening hours (Mon-Fri 9am - 5.30pm).
Please note: Weekend and bank holiday collections/returns are by appointment only, as we are otherwise closed. We therefore offer two standard hire durations:
- 4-day hire - ideal for weekends (Fri-Mon)
- 7-day hire - collect and return same weekday
We're happy to demonstrate how to set up and operate equipment upon collection, and out of hours phone support is also available.
In-House Delivery, Setup and Collection
AV Xpert offers a comprehensive in-house delivery service across East Anglia and London, including collection after your hire period. We can also:
- Set up equipment at your venue
- Provide technicians to operate equipment and offer technical support
- Pack away equipment after your event

Courier Delivery and Collection
We offer nationwide courier delivery and collection services.
- Smaller items are typically sent via 24-hour courier
- Larger items are delivered via same-day courier

Delivery Zones and Pricing
Prices for our delivery options are shown in the table below. Please refer to the map beneath the pricing table to view the areas covered by each delivery zone.

*Calculated as the distance on the road from AV Xpert's Warehouse to the delivery location.
Weekend and Out of Hours Fees
Our office opening hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm. Customer collections and returns must take place within these hours.
Technician working hours extend beyond office opening hours, however services that fall within the times listed below are subject to additional Out of Hours fees. Fees are chargeable per technician, per shift, including travel time, as per the table below.
Important: Technicians will not start work before 7:00am. Where earlier access is required, the client must accept delivery and complete setup the previous day. Weekend work and unsociable out of hours services are only available where the order value meets our minimum spend of £500+VAT.
